I think the only difference is that the V8 T5 might be a little bit stronger. Everything should bolt up including the bellhousing which is the same for 3.8 and 302.
EDIT: From what I've read it's the same, just upgrade the clutch while you have enerything apart.
well, the v6 t5 is rated at 300ft/lbs, which is enough...since I will be putting a v6 behind it(albeit a turbo v6, which will make torque...just not as much in the low RPM band) just not the 3.8L, thanks, you have answered my question
The tranny is the same, but the bellhousing is NOT.
The flywheel on the V6 is bigger than a 5.0 so it put's the
starter further away with the 6 bellhousing.
If this is in reguards to a V8 swap, you need the V8 bellhousing
or the starter will not enguage.
