I just finished up replacing the engine and tranny in my car and I dont remember the setup of the green and red flimsy vaccuum hoses.

theres the part that goes on the VSV its obvious...one on top of the EG valve...and one on the fuel rail kinda, but it comes to a V on the red part and I dunno where that goes...

also do both of the hoses off the egr pipe go to the VSV?

Lastly...does the hose that comes up from the passenger side (dunno what from)go to the back of the throttle body?

Thanks if anyone can help! even a picture of the back of your TB would be great!

Does the vacuum hose routing decal in the engine bay help at all? Guess you probably tried that already though.

Just need to get your hands on a vacuum hose diagram and you'll get it straightened out. I could help you but not till monday. I work at toyota but we have alldata.

well I fired it up and it ran well for awhile then after about 50 miles it began bucking and almost dying out when at low rpm...brand new cops/injectors/ etc - I'm convinced it's a vaccuum issue - almost loses idle then rescues itself etc.

The main one for me is the two red tubes that come to a V and are one slide on rubber sleeve. Right now I have that on my throttle body, but I really don't remember that being there before.

I'll take pictures soon if I can't get it right.

thanks guys
