I had a mechanic friend tell me that if I put a supercharger on my car that I could still use my power brakes because my intake would still have a vacuum. That didn't sound right to me, but I didn't want to argue with him because he's been building racecars for 20 years and he's also very stubborn. My question is, is he right? It seems to me there would be no vaccum at all and certainly not the 18" as needed for power brakes.
