After installing a new motor i now i have a vacuum leak and found that its something coming out of the upper intake. i can figure out what it is or what plugs into it so could someone post a pic or tell me what all the vacuum lines in the upper intake are for. the specific one im talking about is closes to the firewall right in the center of the intake. thanks

On the back of the stock intake the largest hose goes to the vacuum tree on the drivers side firewall. One small one goes to the EGR valve. The other small one goes to the Fuel pressure regulator. On the front the large hose loops around towards the firewall and goes to the PCV valve in the lower intake. The othe hose coming from the front of the intake goes to the charcoal cannister valve.

if you dont hook up the hose that comes from your charcoal cansister to your intake and you block it off does it hurt anything

bmorris, thanks for the pic.

according to the diagram the one dissconected is the MAP sensor line. where is the map sensor, why would it have been disconnected. this engine has all emmissions and EGR stuff either removed to blocked off. i'll try and take a pic of what it is im trying to point on. thanks for your help.

heres a pic of the hose. its making a loud hissing noise so its obviously a big leak. it comes out the back of the upper intake. the left side of the pic is the firewall the right side is the upper intake. hope this helps.
