ok now the line i have cap suck air in the intake really hard. thats if u stand in front of the car looking under the intake infront that i have cap off. on the backside of the intake by the firewall i have the map sensor plug into one line and the other one cap off, its a trickflow intake. when i take off the cap one in front off the car its runs better but the idle stays a little high then comes downs slow i drove like this and it feels faster. what is that line in the front of the intake for and should it be cap

charcoal canister. For fuel venting. If you pull the cap and it runs better you are running very rich. Not sure why pull codes and go from there.

it's hard to understand you, but if you're speed density, it's essential the map goes straight to intake vacuum. maf gets no vacuum to the map.

the fuel pressure regulator goes straight to manifold vacuum.

the pcv gets manifold vacuum, and the vacuum tree on the firewall gets manifold vacuum.

off the front the charcoal canister gets vacuum, and usually off the back the tad/tad/egr gets vacuum from the tree from a single line that t's off near the pass side. that's about it for vacuum. the a/c system has some vacuum stuff coming off the tree on the firewall, as does the brake booster
