My vacuum gauge reads between 5-6in at idle. Is this normal? I thought it was supposed to be somewhere near 20 at idle. Maybe it has something to do with my mods. Any ideas? I used a t-fitting on the red line infront of the plenum/tb.

If its lower than its supposed to be, blame it on your cams.

Mine runs about 18 ins. at idle with the bolt ons I have. I also think it's because of your cams.

You should use a hose that is attached directly to the throttle body or plenum. There are a few of them coming off the lower portion of the plenum that should be suitable,on the back side of the plenum if i remember correct. With those cams you should expect 13-16 inches of vaccuum.
