Valve clearence?

will it be an issue if i'm going with stock heads from a 87-93 5.0? or is it only an issue with aftermarket ones? peace

If you're going with stock heads from a 87-93? What kind of motor is it? There isn't nearly enough details....

what i'm doing is taking stock worked over heads valves and so forth from a 87-93 5.0 roller motor and putting them on my 95 motor. i dont know if they are the same heads that our S/N's came out with iwould assume that they are the same heads ? it's all 5.0 stuff the new heads and my block is. peace

All the ford small block heads will bolt up. The 351 heads the E7TE heads they are all enterchangable.

as far as valve clearance goes that all has to do with the diameter of the valve and how much lift/duration the cam has.

If its all stock you have no problem. if not check it.

You should be fine, I had stock heads that had been milled .025" and ran an F cam with no issues.
