In preparation for powder coating I media blasted my valve covers this afternoon. While doing so a co-worker recommended to me that I remove the baffles from inside the covers to ensure there was no dust or abrasive material left.
In hindsight the easiest thing to do would have been to tape off the bottom of the covers, but now that I am past that choice I have two options. I can either thoroughly scrub and blast the baffles out with air and water, or I can remove the baffles and work on reattaching them later.
Any advice either way would be appreciated.
