Probably within the next week or 2 im going to take off my valve covers on my 05 GT and i was wondering if anyone knew how many ft. lbs. of torque the bolts should be at. And i know there is a sequence to put on the bolts once you want to put them back on and if anyone knew that it would help out a ton. Thanks in advance

Here you go...
Torque is 89 inch pounds or 7.4 foot pounds.
Torque sequence is as follows...
Make sure you use silicone where the front engine cover meets the cylinder head on both sides.

This is an easy job.
Good luck...

yes - actually that looks more applicable to the early style valve covers (more bolts) my '07 has only 9 per side I believe.

You can get the Ford service manual on disc.

Here's the Ford service manual for the Mustang S197 online.
There's a lot on there but not everything.
Have fun...
