Are the valve covers from a 93 cobra differnt than the stock covers on 87-93 5.0? I know the 93 cobra has 1.7 roller rockers. But they have the gt40 heads. So I am asking if they are differnt or the same on the inside as far as clearance goes. Thanks

They are different. They are black stamped steel covers.

The 94-95 Cobra has the same except it says COBRA in white on them

93 cobra valve covers are the same as 94-95 GT valve covers. No script. The 94-95 covers will still accept a set of 1.7's though.

I have crane 1.7 cobra roller rockers. I had to modify my stock covers to clear the roller rockers. I am wondering if i will have to modify the cobra ones to use on my 5.0 with e7te heads or will they clear as is?
