I have an '87 GT and am looking to get some new valve covers. I want to get some from Edelbrock, either part #4460 http://www.7453217467431.com/produc...9963&bmUID=1092449706031&bmLocale=en_CA&tab=4, or #4260 http://www.7453217467431.com/produc...9963&bmUID=1092449848390&bmLocale=en_CA&tab=4 . But I've been told that neither will fit properly under the stock manifold of a 5.0 Mustang. Anybody have either of these types of covers or know if they will fit properly or not? Any other suggestions for valve cover upgrades over the ugly stock ones? Thanks in advance!

yeah, sometimes valve covers dont like intakes. if you were to get a 3/8" spacer, that might allow you to run the headers and you would only have to spend like $2 at home depot on new bolts.
