So one of my valve covers is busted and it needs replaced. But all the aftermarket products are ridiculously priced. I cant find any on ebay, or craigslist. Anyone have any idea how much they are at the dealer? Or have any lost cost alternatives I haven't thought of? It just seems like a waste of money to spend so much on something that is never seen.

Go to a local salvage/wrecking yard. That is what i did when i was looking for a set of driver side oil fill cam covers for my Bullitt intake swap. The only thing is,finding a set for the '99/'00 PI head might be a peta.I know for the Romeo, they are easily found.

Dont know how much these run, but they are badass. They do alot to spice up the boring 2V engine bay...
