I recently purchased a DSS 306 and already had some Edelbrock 6037 heads w/ 10k miles on them. I want to go ahead and replace the valves with some quality ones and also replace the springs and spring seats. Is this something that I can do or is it better to have a machine shop do the work? I'm pretty mechanically inclined. Any tricks or tips and what tools are needed?
