i need some advice on install the valve springs w/my cams, first did you remove the stock cam before installing them, and how do you keep the valve shut by air or by the piston and how exactly do you do it by air, and if anyone knows of a spring install right up that would be great.....i just found out that w/my custom grind cams i am going to have to install springs also i was planning on just a drop in cam which i wasnt nervous about at all but the cam is a little too aggressive for stock springs im just freaking out about this install so any advice would be great

You will need to remove the stock cams and followers in order to get to the valvesprings. There is a tool that you can get that you put in where the spark plugs goes and they will but air to keep the valve up, it works really well, you just hook an air compressor up to it.

Here's a pic, its the black thing sticking up

there's some good articles over at MD.. but for some reason you can't link their site :o

also I made a video out of the pics I took during my install
