I have a fully rebuilt 302 motor with an e303 camshaft it has
Speed Pro Z8KL2482F30 pistons (4 reliefs),E7 heads with stock valves and dual springs, but the question is can a TFS 2 cam clear the pistons.
I have done a search an haven't found much.Shed some light for me.
If the TFS 2 won't clear what other options do I have.I'm tired of the E303 even though it a sweet cam.

It would most likely clear with your stock small valves. But, you should ALWAYS check piston to valve clearance when doing a cam change. That cam will be too much for your stock head combo though, there's really no reason to swap out to that. If you're going to change it your best bet would probably be the tfs stage 1. It would be a very minimal gain though in a stock combo and not worth the time/money imo.

what do you think about leaving a used E303 on some new cam bearings I believe the bearing lobes can be polished like the crankshaft correct?... I would hate to do that....Ya I also do not want to spend the extra 200.00 on a new cam.I just got car back from chassis and am broke.I just don't want to purchase the cam if there is very little chance it will clear once I check clearance, and then I will have to return.

just keep the e-cam, save your money for a goo HCI combo that you buy all at once so the combo is completly planned out and everthing works together, the e-cam is a fantastic cam and does alot of things very well
