I have my car vandelized last night by some little punks that live around the corner from me, they threw rocks at my car . My daughter saw them do it though the window. I'll post pics soon. They damaged my rear wheel well ( big dent), A pillar, roof, hood, rear bumper, rear spoiler, right rear wheel.

I called the cop's and they said if I didn't see them do it, it did not happen What kind of parents do kids have these days? It seems that kids are not taught to respect other peoples property anymore. I can't do anything to these kids because they are only 12-15 at best

Being that my car is laser red which is 3 stage paint, i'm really concerned that my car is probaly going to now be 2 different shades of red My only hope is that the adjuster is a car nut and I can talk him into a new paint job.

Anyone else had their stangs violated ?

Back when i had my stang it got egged 3 times within a week. People kept tellin the guy i messed with his ranger and i never did. I figured he got enough payback when someone sanded his rims, kicked his grill out, and broke his windshield because of drug deal gone bad. it did $1700 dmg to my car, had to have all repainted except passenger quarter and passenger door.

Their's a bunch of idiot punk kids that live in the adjacent apartment complex to me. They play football and kickball and dent the living crap out of the vehicles parked in the parking lot. They could'nt care less that their damaging vehicles. The parents don't watch them at all. They just want them out of their apartment so they don't have to put up with them. I'm glad I have a garage with my apartment.

if your daughter saw them do it then she is a witness.

as for the kids playing in the parking lot i have gone out many times at my work and yelled at people playing in the parking lot. i work in a mall, but all of the people from my dept park in the same place. at my shop theres my car, a 04 BMW M3, a 02 S2000, a very nice MR2, i just let the people know that if they touch any of the cars they will have a bunch of very pissed off mechanics beating the living hell out of them.

Run over their bikes and skateboards and watch them cry like babies.

Or, wait untill they do it again and chase after them with a chainsaw at full blast or something (with the chain removed, of course)...

Or, the best bet is to buy one of those home survelence cameras and set it up so its watching your car. Maybe park it closer to the road so it lures them in and then whala... they will come again.

I have state farm insurance. Pay alot for it but it does help when people decide to mess with my stuff. getting a brand new set of tools now because they were stolen out of the bed of my truck the day i brought them home from school. If i was ever dumb enough to do something like that and my dad found out, he would have killed me. He owned an autobody so i knew how much that **** cost, so i knew not to mess with anything that dealt with a car.

One....Your Daughter IS A WITNESS, regardless of what your insurance says. YOU HAVE A VALID Witness, The cops did not pass there entrance exam, I ran this by my little brother, HES a cop in Cali, "As long as there is a valid whiteness, no officer or law enforcement agent can say other wise, regardless of age, religion, race, or gender" Straight out of there hand book. Call another cop and have them come out. If your daughter can ID them you WIN they LOOSE !!!!

Anyway good luck with all,.... and try to have a merrier x-mas

Guy's, Thanks for all the simpathy. My insurance company is Geico, who are probably going to be investigating this more than the police

This little punk girl that lives around the corner from me hangs out with the wrong crowd. I spoke with the apartment complex where I live and they are going to comp some of rent for my deductable, we have lived here 9 years and had no trouble at all. I also spoke with complex about this girl and her mother, they tell me that department of children and families are involved with this girl due to the drugs in the home, plus there are about 5 1/2 months into evicting them The complex also told me one more involvement with the police and she will be removed from the household per DCF, hope this counts as one, probably be the best thing for her to be removed!

The police are useless, the cop told me unless I physically saw them throw the rocks, it didn't happen. Next comment from the cop was the laws protect the criminals more than the good public. My daughter tells me after talking with her at length is that she only saw them hanging out around my car then pointing and laughing, I can't do much about that.

I know they did it.

I'm really losing faith that cop's are really any good anymore, are they any good one's out there??

It's raining here in Florida so the pictures will be up soon. Maybe I can get a new paint job out of this and not just a repaint on half the car.

Thanks for all the support :SNSign:

I don't think they are gonna do much investigation...they'll probably just pay it out under Comp, minus your deductible, and be on their way.

Wow, sorry about it. Nothing on this car, but with the last stang (94) seems someone had a little party in it (forgot to lock it one night) in my driveway. they ripped the clock off the dash, the seats were reclined, and they spit in it. I have screamed at the kids on my street enough they know not to mess around in the street near my house, 2 stangs in my driveway, and 2 across the street, and we are all pretty obsessed with keeping the cars nice... My kids know they cannot even touch the car unless it is to open the door to get in...
