my car was vandalized last night. looks like someone kicked the gas cap door and dented the quater. I work for a body shop so ots no big deal to fix but im worried that the person who did the damage may have put somehting in the gas tank possiblt pee or something so what should i do?? also does anyone sell a locking gas cap or billet gas cap door??

Stant sells a locking gas cap for 2005+ Mustangs; the one they list for GTs is part #10510.

You can check their catalog at: http://stant.com/part_locator/index.cfm

I have one and it works fine. I think it was around $15 shipped but you might be able to find it locally at AutoZone, PepBoys, WalMart, etc.

I had this exact thing happen to mine a few weeks ago. The didn't kick the gas cap in, but they kicked right to the left of it and left a pretty nice dent. Ended up costing me $200 bucks or something since I got an estimate for it and it came out to $7xx. Decided to find another shop after that was submitted because it seemed high and got it done for $475 instead (so $200 out of my pocket since I got the insurance check).

Needless to say I was pissed.

I got my locking gas when I took delivery, way too many envious people over these cars for some reason.

I can't understand what kind of asholes would want to do that. You don't mess with someones vehicle, it's simply against the rules.
