hey all,
has anyone looked into these venom 400 control modules? summit has them and claims a 25% hp gain. as far as i can tell it increases fuel? is this worth 300$? would it really work?

I'd be interested in this info also?? I know a few buddies that have it in there John Deer's (oops, I mean imports..hahaha) and they claim some improvements.

I read the pdf on Summit but it doesn't really tell you how the Venom 400 improves performance or affects the computer. I'm really curious on how it works now as well because they say that it ties into the MAF sensor and the TPS sensor. But for $300 it better be a product that does more than just trick the computer with different readings from sensors.

The VENOM modules will NOT make any power. Basicly when you press the gas pedal down say, 50% the VENOM tells the comp its 75% pressed and the motor reacts accordingly. when you press down 65% comp thinks its like 85% and so on. SOTP feels like "wow im making power" while cruising, but WOT is unchanged. I mean, once your at 100% wot thats its.
-So in other words if you want 25% more power through the rev range. press the pedal down 25% more than usual and just send the $300 to me. (pm for paypal info)
