I tried to research a kit to delete the front vent windows and make the door windows a solid piece of glass. I've seen it done, but don't know if it is available in kit form. Has anyone heard or know of a kit for this conversion? I would like to do this on my 67 FB.
Thanks!

Yeah I've seen this car before. But if you look at it, it's only a vent window delete with the original glass. I want to make the entire area, vent window included, glass.

Those guys built the black Nemesis with a very small triangle in front of the door glass and used lexan windows. You could gut the front glass channel and move it forward. You'd nee glass or lexan the correct size to fill the void. I think it might be tough to do all glass above the door, there wouldn't be much supporting the glass when it is rolled all the way up considering there is no window frame. Anything is possible, if you want it you can do it.

Thae vent windows are part of the coolness factor of classic cars. I would not do away with them.

Might try these guys:

Nu-Relics Power Windows

They have 1/4 window delete kits, but I don't know what they entail. May be worth a call.
Good luck,

Why would you want to get rid of the vent windows ? The vent windows are awesome. I wish modern cars had them.....

+1, but it's often easy to break into a veh with vent windows - especially our '60s cars.

When 90% of the classic Mustangs can be started with a cheater clip to the coil and the dip stick in the oil pan, I think geting the car broken into through the vent window is a minor thing. You can change the vent window latch or modify it to lock.

I did some searching a while back as i would like to remove my wing windows on my 65 coupe. I couldn't find what I wanted. looked like I was going to have to have a piece of glass made for both sides if I wanted it done. Keep us posted if you find a place that has them. I would still like to do the conversion.

I am pretty sure Autoworks International has done this on a few cars, you may want to check them out.

There was glass company local to me that was on Overhauling that made a 1 pc glass for a Falco. It was just a glass company. Maybe check with local glass companies that do custom cutting????
