is the vert gonna be an 05 or 06 model and if it is an 05 ,when will the 06 be coming out??also, will the vert come with 18" fanblades right away..thanks for your help!

From what I've heard, the '05 verts will out sometime after the first of the year. Ford is expected have one at the Detroit Auto Show next month. The 18" wheels won't be available until the 2006 MY.

I plan on ordering a new vert. Went to the dealer 2 days ago, was told OK for january ordering, however deliveries will not be starting until MAY at the earliest. Could be longer. they will be '05s and unknown if 18" wheels will be available. Dealer has taken my order though, and I'll keep my fingers crossed - i do want it of course in time for summer. BON had vert information on their website yesterday, but took it down today with a comment that they needed to speak with Ford legal.

keep us informed..good luck! :nice:

I own a rental car company in Chicago. I ordered my fleet v6 convertibles yesterday with delivery starting in March. I am currently debating which car to get for my summer ride, a gt convertible or a Ram SRT10. Two completely different animals, but both a hell of alot of fun.

After all we learned about early orders with the coupes why would anyone "order" a vert? Just go to the dealer in March and buy one. Yes it will be marked up, but they are always willing to make a deal (and they always do). Don't fall into the ordering trap unless you are willing to watch your friends, who never thought about a vert until they drove past the Ford dealership, driving around in one before you!
