Almost center mass under each seat cushion is a tab. Use a small flat head screwdriver and push in on the tab, while holding the tab in, use your other hand to grab the front of the seat right where the tab is, and pull up. Do this on both sides. If you lightly pry up on the seat cushion, you can see this tab, a white vinyl piece. Be sure to push the seat belt buckles through the seat to remove it. It pops back in when you install it, just seat the cushions in the rear and push down on the front.
I think the tabs may be a little bit closer to the outside than the middle of each side of the seat. I just used the buckle to push the tab in. All you have to do is push the tabs both in and pull it out. For the back part you will have to undo two screws below the seat. I did in my 2000 at least.
