Yeah, the main reason i did it myself was because the top frame was bent up as well. I took it to the local shop and they told me that replacing the top and the frame was gonna cost me $1300. I didn't have that kind of cash so I ended up getting a top online ($150) and a frame on half price day at the boneyard ($50). Didn't need to replace my back window, so that was it. Only thing I would have done different, I should have replaced the top pads while I had it all apart. That was an extra $100 that I didn't have though. If you do it yourself you'll spend most of your time trying to get the wrinkles out of the rear quarters. That was the hardest part IMO. If youre not the patient type, it's well worth the $300 to save you the frustration.
