vert top motor

my top will go up but not down? this a sign of a bad top motor or what?

seems like the hinges are sticking or binding check that out motor is fine

Hear any clicking? A lot of times its the relays.

nonthing binding up..it will not click or anything if i press it to go down

no clicking when i try to put it down... time for me to trace wires right?

Did u check the fluid in your pump? It might need some.

could just be a bad switch... sounds like a wiring/relay problem.. just an idea... get some extra wire and jumper the top motor to the battery and see if it works...

I was thinking that the clicking from the relays was them working (assuming they click in both directions).

You might consider pulling the power connection from the top motor and test the power leads with a multimeter. One lead for each direction. It may help you narrow it down.
