The door gap could use a touch ,but i think it is mainly adjustment . The quarter is welded down the door jamb and across the bottom ,and just a single weld in the lower rear to keep it in place . I won't weld the top until the other quarter is in place and i can set the roof on and the rear window panel so i can make sure they will line up

Both quarters are on ,the vent corners are where they are supposed to be and the lower rear window panel is welded at both quarters but needs to be welded around the openings .both quarters still need to be welded at the wheel openings but that will be the last thing welded . Had enough for the day so the roof i will save for tomorrow .

The roof is on ,back window panel welded in and the body is done except welding the rear wheel lips and adding all the interior brackets . This one was a mess at the start but its nice and straight now

I would have to call this one a [creation] versus a [conversion]. hehe

It didn't look like you had anything left to [convert]

Yep ,it was pretty much a cowl and rockers with door and window posts . It doesnt look like it but that is a new floor ,the guy left the car sitting outside and it now has a nice rusty surface that has to be blasted away

If you dont believe that weld through primer rusts ,well ,that is what was on the floor ,the stuff is a joke and really needs to be sanded off ,you will probably find rust under it and they just sprayed over it to ship it

It tells me that the bottom of the barrel is being reached for restorations anymore.

I wonder how many times that car was [passed] on before it got attention.

I think I might recall somebody asking you this before but...

Do you ever see them when they're back to 100%?

I made the last of the interior fiberglass and drilled the mounting holes ,had to use white gelcoat because i ran out of black. The hood and fenders are just sitting in place but this one is finished and should be gone by the middle of next week . Now to get back into my nephews 65 ,all his motor parts made it in except the main and rod bearings .
