VHT color dye and the seats

I've never heard of a dye that was permanent.

With the climate you live in, that is just going to accentuate the problem. If you are so adamant about restoring the color, take the car to an upholstery shop. I don't think it would be that much.

I don't know about the dye, but a friend of mine took a set of old cloth flofits to get them reuphostered and they wanted an arm and a leg to re-cover them.
I think if that's what you are planning on doing then i'd suggest just saving your $$$ and buy a set of aftermarket cobra or corbeu seats.

I'm sure somebody on here can chime in on how well that dye works.

Well the seats are stock and in perfect condition..but you guys know how ford has the "black" cloth seats that are actually grayish from the factory, I just wanna make them look more black to blend with the interior.

On another note I was thinking about getting the stock seats redone in leather. Anyone know where the cheapest place to buy the covers are?
