Hey, I had a vibration problem with my mustang, and a while back it was recomended to me to replace the drive shaft as a possible fix. Well I just got the mustang back on the road, and the vibraton was really pissing me off. So i removed the old shaft, checked the u joints for play and they seemed fine, spun the shaft 180 degrees (i marked the shaft before removal) and reinstalled. Took the care for a drive and the vibration was much less.
So out to the store and got an aluminim motorsport shaft for under $200 installed it in fifteen minutes, and no more vibration.
Thanks to all who helped me on this board, and hope this is helpful to anyone else woth this problem.
