Anyone know of a good shop in or around Virginia Beach that will do an aod to t-5 swap? I fear that the automagic trans I currently have is going south on me and if I'm going to have to spend money on a transmission, it may as well be the kind that I want.

By the way, what happened to my Founding Member status? Somebody joked my on the number of posts that I had and the next thing I know, my screen name isnt red anymore. This makes me sad

Its not that hard to do it yourself. The biggest pain is pedal conversion.

Thanks for the info, I will check out Steen. Anyone heard anything good or bad about MAS in Virginia Beach?

I would try to do the conversion myself, however I think that the boss(wife) would have a few problems with all these parts showing up and me with a big s*** eatin grin on my face. I think for the sake of my marriage, if I have it done, I should take it to someone.

Thanks again for the info,
Ike

I found the hardest part was getting the auto tranny out. It took me 30 minutes to do the pedals..

Do not go to them. They tend to exaggerate prices. Same with Holeshot performance (or whatever they are called now). They post over at hrracing.com.
