Hey, we have new rods to install on the 76. We are sortof afraid to get the old ones out as worried about them breaking inside the visor-as we have heard this is bound to happen. Any suggestions on getting the old rods out, or pics?

The easiest way is to drill a small pilot hole in the broken end, then thread a sheet metal screw or similar into the pilot hole. You can then just grab the head of the screw with a pair of pliers or vice grips and pull out the broken stud. You might have to wiggle back and forth a bit, they are resistant to coming out, but if you take your time you should be able to remove them without problems. Good luck!
