hey guys i got some performance stuff done to my stallion but now i want to do some visual upgrades. I'm getting Dual (Black) stripes put on my car. Its a Oxford White with black MUSTANG on the side. I of course want new rims and i only want 17's due to rubber prices. Im just looking for Idea's and if anyone out there knows if black rims would look good on my car. I dont know much about rims as far as the best ones to get but im open for options.

lots of people like the torque thrust wheels that come on gt's, but you can get them bigger and cheaper than fords... also look at the fr500 wheels, they look pretty clean, as well as the 03 cobras.. all come in black, which sound like it would look good on your car with the accents you have, at mustangtuning.com

kbmwrs shoot yourself now. haha.

Anyway no matter which way you go, make sure the wheel is designed specifically for a mustang. I hate it when mustangs have random aftermarket wheels.

....what Trock said, goes for me too.... also if you are going to do stripes, at least consider having them painted on.. decals are bound to chip, peel, bubble, etc over time. It's not as much as you might think, & looks much better. that's my $.02

Not only that, but painted on just looks smoother. Personally, I want a chin spoiler and I have been looking at http://store.shinodaperformance.com/media/99spoiler.jpg that spoiler.
http://www.teamshinoda.com/images/boss_side.jpg that's how the chin spoiler on the front and the rear spoiler in the back look.

With a white stang almost anything goes lol.. As for rims u might want to get a gunmetal finish or black. If you really want to stick out think about some white rims tho a lot of people think thats ricer...

viuals

First off all i want to send my congrads to a buddy of mine who just bought a 03 Mach 1 booyah ricers eat 320hp of american V8 shaker power! Anyway reason going for the vinlys is cause a place around where i live is willing to give me a 7yr warranty on them plus im thinking bout trading the car in summer 07 for a GT either a 5.0 or 99+. If anyone has cheap GT rims in good condition just PM me. Looking for the Torque thrust ones. How wide should i go im thinking 10" but that might really make the bored cops like me.

i would say max of 9 in the front, 10.5 in the back, cops wont really notice how wide they are, plus the fatties out back just look killer, add that to the 9's up fornt and it will handle alot better too

Well, if you are really into performance, remember that going to 17" rims and wider tires adds alot of weight. 17x9 rims with 275/40-17 is about 17 pounds heavier, so you gain 68 pounts, plus since the 275/40 is about .2" bigger, you'll loose a good tenth off your time. But on the other extreme, the 15x7 doesn't have as big of a contact patch so they don't grip as good, too bad they don't have a 14x9. There are lightweight rims, but they are EXPENSIVE. And since you want a power car, then you probably still want a 9-10" wide rim. Don't bother any bigger than 18" tall or 10.5" inches wide because then the weight just isn't worth it since there is probably no grip gains.

Besides the stripes, you could add a mirror under the hood, silver plastic hose wrap, Lambo doors, painted plastic pieces, roadster kit, fake braided hose kit, and a trunk full of speakers- all on a V6 with no performance mods besides a CAI.

(This is a clean execution, but this Mustang still got pwned)

Those mirrors used to be on www.blueovalindustries.com, but they are no longer there. That's the only place I ever saw them. You could get them black or painted your body color. Well, your car's color, not the color of YOUR body.. heh...heh.... ok I'll shut up now.
