So, had the Visus Louvers installed about a month and a half ago on the '07 Grabber Orange GT (along with a painting of the rear spoiler satin black). Had it done by a professional shop. Well, a few weekends ago, while washing the ride, I noticed my top clip had 'slid' to the bottom of my rear windshield...wtf??? Don't know if was shop error (which I doubt...VERY reputable shop that had installed these louvers previously on other cars) or old 3M adhesive...point is, I wanted to get this resolved. So I called the place I ordered it from, 1 of 2 retailers mentioned on Visus' site, and I told them my dilema and wanted to know if they's send me a replacement part. Turns out these guys wanted me to buy the whole clip kit which included ALL the clips for $35 clams plus shipping I'm sure. I said all I needed was one clip with a new adhesive. The guy tells me just go buy some new 3M tape, scrape the old tape off and replace it. I'm pretty concerned with fit and finish and told him this was unacceptable.

So, went online, went to Visus' site and contacted Jake VanderGalien, President of Visus directly via email and told him the situation of the clip having faulty adhesive. The dude is the man!! He sends me via email almost INSTANTANEUOSLY pics of the clips, asks me which one it was and says he'll send a replacemnt clip right out. 4-5 ground shipping days later...it arrives! Fired that bad boy on and never looked back!

It's direct customer service like this from a shop that makes quality equipment that keeps this Mustang community smokin'! Thanks Jake for everything!

Will get recent shots of the ride on this forum when the weather starts letting up!

Contacting Visus

I have a similar problem. I mounted the top brackets with the templete but some how I made a mistake and now I can not get the louvers installed (2/16 to far apart) so I need to order just a pair of top brackers. How do I contact Visus' web site and contacted Jake VanderGalien? I can't find it in a google search.

Thanks.
