First off, to the people who think the P1-SC is more powerful then the V2, your nuts. Sure at 8-10# it puts up some impressive numbers, but the thing just runs out of gas when it comes to bigger numbers. I have yet to see anyone get the kind of numbers ATI publishes.

The V2 can push to 600+rwhp, I have yet to see a P1 on a 2V get anywhere near that. If memory serves me right CobraKiller was getting 650rwhp out of his little V2.

This is why you see so many people step up to the D1, after seeing the lack of potential the P1SC has.

To all the people telling him to get a T-trim, WHY? If you can get 600rwhp out of a V2, no reason to go any bigger, unless you plan to go all out, and in that case, you should skip over the T-trim altogether.

I'm not sure which car your referring to in regards to Cobra Killer but if it's their 663rwhp 2003 mustang gt....that had a t-trim on it....not a v2. (Video of 663rwhp )

In terms of Vortech....My vote goes for the V2 SQ...I drive mine 15,000+ miles a year and the SQ noise level is definitely more approriate compared to the V1.

I am talking about Cobra Killers car, before he went for 800rwhp, he was ran a Vortech S-trim at 600+rwhp, which is now on White99GT's car making 550+ on pump gas at around 14# of boost.

Vortech specs: http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/products/units/

ProCharger specs: http://www.procharger.com/models.shtml

As I said in another thread, it's best to call the tech lines and speak to someone from each company to find out realistically the type of power you will get. Company vehicles are tested in optimal conditions so it's hard to get a realistic power gain.

No offense, but in reality, those would be the last people I would speak with. They will spout nothing but the greatness of thier own products.

I would rather listen to real world experiences from people who have them.

These have been out long enough to get real skinny.

Black '03, the efficiency of both the V1 and V2 are virtually the same. I have had them both, and power levels were almost the same. The only real difference besides the impellor is the step-up ratio. The V1 is 3.45, the V2 is 3.60, too similar to make a big difference.

stang976, it is all what you would consider obnoxious. Many hard core guys like the sound, others like myself did not. The V1 sounds like rocks crushing against each other, whereas the V2 has a slight whine to it.

I see where your coming from with this, but they can explain the technology better than anyone else can since it's their product. If people want to know why one product is better than the other, shouldnt they hear both sides and then decide for themselves? Real world experience is excellent too; at least people's opinions will be less biased than someone out there trying to sell one. Good point

LOL! Less biased, huh. You know how it goes on these boards. What someone has is the best, no matter what, even if they can be proven wrong.

One thing I have always tried to do is have an open mind, prove it to me which is better. If I had my choice of blowers, right now would be the KB. It might not have the full out potential of a Centri blower, but it sure would put a grin on my face everytime I hit the throttle. Love to see that thing on a purposely built engine.

Note i said less biased than the ones selling the product. Power is power wether it say Vortech, ProCharger, Paxton, KB, etc... I am happy with my ProCharger and would reccomend it to others, but thats not to say everything else is a piece of crap. Maybe that's just me though.
