Vortech s-trim 10-12 psi. What spark plug gap

I have a 1993 lx with a Vortech s-trim making 10 to 12 psi.
Could one of you guys recommend a gap? I'm using motorcraft
plugs. From what I read on past post on this form it probably going to be .035 but the spark plugs I pulled out of my car are gap at .045. I read the Vortech manual and it said to gap according to manufacture specs. which is .054. I 'm already detonating a little and plugs are peppered,so now I really confused.
I'm running a MSD 6BTM,Blaster, and billet MSD distributor.

.035 is good. thats what i run with 10psi of boost

i go .035 with my autolite 103's and only push 6#'s

how about if your using a msd ignition with the s-trim should the gap still be at .035? also what plug #?

For a stock head I would use an Autolite 23 or 24. MSD or not, .032-.035.

You beat me to the punch. Definately would recommend a step or two colder. Gap recommendations are right on.

I use Autolite 23s and gap at .035 as well. Gotta be good!
