Here's the low down on the different head units. The SQ is considered the "super quiet" unit of the bunch, but is capable of the same power output as the S-trim. Check my sig for the SQ sound vid at idle.....

BTW, I wish mine was a little louder......

if gets louder if you spin it faster.

When I first got mine with 363rwhp you could barely hear it on the highway....now I definitely can hear it winding up.

I went from 3.6(stock) to 3.3 RR pulley, plus a steeda powerpipe.

I could definitely feel it pulling harder under the curve. traction issues lol Plus I should have a graph to back it up soon.

Have you gotten an intercooler yet to run safe boost? What psi are you at now? I want to pulley down eventually too.

What do you mean by run safe boost? I'm not sure i'm following ya.

I'm at 10psi in cold weather with the intercooler. So once it warms up I should be around 9psi which is where I want to be.

no problem in asking questions

I like the SQ....it was just what I was looking for considering my car is my daily driver to work and school.

Definately, but yeah a little more pricey. I got the Novi b/c I have big plans for RWHP. I'd hate to regret buying something less later on. Not that Vortechs are wimpy. Michaed Kidd seems to do pretty well with his The guys mods I'm following so far made 433RWHP w/ an Intercooled Novi 2K smaller blower pully, and a power pipe which I just bought. Someone on modularfordpowerhouse made 25 pounds of boost out of a Novi 2K recently. Build the motor, and run that and OMG !

Don't get a S-trim. I've heard they make a nasty rattle noise at idle like someone shaking a box of rocks. I expect my Novi to be loud, but I love how prochargers sound.

Can SQ trims all be upgraded to the more powerfull T trim impellar later on if desired ?

I was talking about intercooled boost, which is better than non-intercooled, right? Especially since you went with a smaller pulley and have a stock bottom end.

I wanted the intercooler so that I wouldn't have to wait so long for the car to cool down at the track considering im a track ho.

I got the pulley and powerpipe to compensate for the boost loss.

Yeah I'm all about the a/f and it being safer vs how much hp I can get out of it.

i originally had the S trim V-1, and the sound got annoying, especially when i had engine problems and tried to find out where my knocking was coming from. i traded for a SQ and have no regrets.
