Vortech T-trim

since the t-trim is a bigger supercharger than the s-trim does it lag more? for some reason my t-trim isnt making full boost untik about 5k.

well i guess i need to build the motor then and up the boost

There shouldn't be too much of a difference.

centri's dont make full boost till higher RPM's. thats just how they are designed

^Exactly, the higher the RPM you spin your engine the faster that impeller wheel will be spinning. And unless your maxing the blower out, it will continue to build boost until you shift gears.

Are you saying that @ 5000RPM it hits say "9PSI" and then just stays there until redline? If so, id say you have a boost leak that starts venting all your boost at that point.

My D-1 Procharger makes 3psi at 2500 rpms, 5 psi at 3000 rpm and finally 12.5 psi at 6000 rpm. Centri's that are set up right make plenty of low and mid range boost. If your setup is not intercooled, it should be considered for more power. Air to Air is most popular, but you could do meth injection for more power.

302, GT-40x heads, Systemax II intake, longtubes, 42lb inj, and of course the D-1. Makes 470rwhp at 12.5 psi. Over 400rwtrq from 3000 rpm up.
