Someone is selling me this kit brand new for $3200:

http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/product_variation.php?pvk=765

My question is it worth it or can it be found cheaper?

and will it fit a 01 GT (since its the bullit version im thinking it will only fit the bullit mustang)

As far as I know, the only difference between the GT kit and the Bullitt kit is the final piece of tubing before the TB...and even if the kit youre thinking about buying is meant for the Bullitt, you might be able to call Vortech and swap it - Procharger pretty much let me mix-and-match things from a few different kits for my car...

You aren't buying it on Ebay or anything are you? Because thats something you'd definitely want to look at in person before you drop 3K on it.

Check out these two pictures and notice the difference in the Shakers and in the inlet tubes.

Mach: http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/product.php?p=92

Bullitt: http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/product_variation.php?pvk=765

Looks like someone offers a Shaker (er...Faker? ) for a 2V - because the TB angle in that second pic definitely suggests Bullitt...

Thanks.

I would like to keep the modification as simple as possible so that it can easily be reversed. Going back to my original question - does anyone know how to get a hold of 'chalofs' (the originator of this thread)? If he does not want to purchase the unit he described for his GT I would be interested.
Regards.

Just buy a used kit. You can find really good deals on the boards. I got most of my stuff listed for 2 grand. I got a FMIC, BPV, injectors, everything.
