SLP herd it on a 4 valve mach and a 5.0 fox. Its got to be herd to be believed. The part you have on there from mustangexhaust.com doesnt even come close to a full exhaust car with the SLP. Its so mean you may have to change your pants.

SLP sounds like an F-bod or a pick up. MAC is nice. No complaints.

the slp sound bite sounds pretty mean and that's on stock mid and headers... the flowpath clip doesn't work?

Yeah, SLP is just loud and sounds like crap IMO. Heard it on a modular & a fox, and I don't like it.

I haven't heard Mac's, but people seem to like them.

I am baised towards Magnaflow. It just sounds so clean!!!

I have a full exhaust with slp and @ wot its like nothing you've ever heard. But the flow paths have a better all around sound.

Personally Id go with a Dr. Gas x-pipe with a Magnaflow catback. With your h/c/i combo, it will scream .

Since I have had flowpath and flowmasters, I will tell you that they sound similar. It's been too long to say something concrete about the flowmaster's sound but I did choose flowpath over them for a reason, even if I can't remember.

That doesnt sound like typical flowmasters because in that clip the setup involves an X-pipe.

that slp sounds mean.. though it was just the idle thats pretty impressive for a stock 95 gt..

you cant really tell between all of em though cause they all have diff pipes / headers etc..

If that clip of slp is off of mustangexhaust then its from my car. Believe me when I say this exhaust is loud. I now have lt's and an o-r h-pipe and it sounds cammed at idle now. The exhaust is really hit or miss because some days I like it and others I hate it. Id go with the mac setup because its the best sound ive personally heard.

Recently I heard a dr. gas o/r x-pipe with I think flowmasters on a 99+, and it sounds crazy. It's got that hollow sound at idle, and it just screams at WOT.

Haven't heard one on a 5.0 though.

Even though its not one your list, look into spintech. If i change my exhaust i will get Spintech Prostreets behind an off road H-pipe.

If i HAD to choose one of those setups...it would be between Flow's(preferably Super 40's) and Magnaflows or maybe even magnapacks.

Askin for exhaust opinions is like asking what your favorite color is. You are going to get a million different answers. You gotta get as many exhaust clips as you can if you can not hear them in person, and take a stab and what u think you want.

Good luck! Let us know what you decide to run.

Well said... and it's totally accurate.
And you'll get more than one defined answer. I like a few of them to be honest.
I am a huge fan of flowies - but everyone around here has them, so i've been so reluctant to get them.

Right now i'm running no mufflers, just 2 straight pipes where the mufflers, used to be.
and i love that sound, absolutely love it! it sounds so friggin raw! so throaty...
the ONLY thing i don't like is the fireback i get when i'm at a high revs in low gears reving down... it back fires quite a bit, giving that popping sound because of unspent fuel...
it isn't really bad, it just sometimes gets loud...
whereas the mufflers would get rid of that...
meh, c'est la vie... the price you pay to sound different.

I'll have my setup me thinks for a good few years left anyway.
