VSS sensor leaking auto trans fluid?

First of all, can someone comfirm that this is my vehichle speed sensor.

Is it possible for me to be leaking fluid from there? I am trying to track down a pesky leak and cant seem to single out the source. I am getting fluid dripping down my crossmember and onto the xpipe. It doesnt seem to be coming from the extension housing. I see that there is fluid on this sensor and on the wiring harness. I also see some fluid around the base of the dipstick tube. Does the dipstick tube have an o-ring. Back when I put in the converter, I had to take the tube out, but dont remember seeing any oring on it, I just popped it back in....

Yes that's the VSS and yes it can leak from there. It may have a bad o-ring that need to be replaced. I don't know if the dip stick has an o-ring can't help you there.

you know if I can get a new o ring for the vss at the parts store?

I've seen o-ring packages available with asorted sizes at I think Napa.

Cool. I will try NAPA. I usually have a hard time finding anything I need at the local autozones, unless of course they contain some LED's or are in some way shape or form either fast and/or furious.

Were do you think I got my NAWZ floor mats from. They do carry great car care products I will give them that.
