Powerdyne 6# kit
MSD cap and Coil
Tokico Shocks
Long Tubes X-pipe no MUFFLERs
Fresh t5(said it was built about 100 miles ago.
13 inch steeda brakes up front.

Blower not runnin throws the belt. Niether is car for the same reason. Needs paint and body. Needs alot of help in the interior dept. Needs motor mounts. Mechanically sounds OK but then again you never know. Started it up with a boost but blower isnt running so it chokes it up a bit. Cars hasnt Ran in like 2 months.

That's a tough call........first thing I noticed was the SC...but second thing I noticed wast h faded "looking" hood and ripped seats.....If I drove the car and the engine checked out maybe 4K to 5K.......To me I think if the seats and body look like that then the owner did not share "our" care for our cars.......this and 1.29 will get you a 20oz DEW...

I don't think I would pay more than 2k. First the body is in rough shape, the blower is a powerdyne which would make me cautious. I don't have any first hand experience with a powerdyne but I have read a lot more threads of people unhappy with their powerdyne then a vortech for example. If the motor is not running too, who knows maybe they blew the motor and are just trying to pawn it off. You can get a pretty decent 94-95 running and all for about 5-6k that includes a much nicer body e.t.c. It also looks like the car has sat for a while, but I would say it depends on what your goals are for the car. I wouldnt pay more than 2k and thats after I find out why the motor is not running to begin with.

Shoot.....I didn't see your posting under the link......I just read it.......I said 4 to 5K before seeing all that about the blower and other stuff....... BUT....I would give 2500 for it myself....I paid that for the V6 vert in my sig......Plus you obviously know your way around a car and repairs........this would be the perfect car to keep on the street but gut the hell out of....1 race seat....delete all comforts and go from there.......go for it..

i would say around 5k....it needs alot of tlc....though it does have a few goodies....it also have its faults....as drakesdad pointed out....a paint job, looks as though the hood maybe not the original....the speedometer don't work....new or re-do the seats (you might be able to find some matching used ones)....but it will be worth it in the long run with time and care(ohhh and money). ...

oh my god....needs alot of work. if you looking to buy a blower car then forget about it. that blower is worth about 20 bucks at a scrap yard. if the guy takes 2 grand for it then okay but i wouldn't go much more than that.

Is there anyway you can get a belt to bypass the blower just to see if it can run? If I was assured there wasn't any engine damage then i'd buy the car for the guys offer. If you had cash in hand he'd probabaly let you take it for what you want to get it for. It doesn't have that many goodies on it but seems like it'd be a fun fixer-uper to have around. The paint is bad, but i've seen worse. Get a new hood, and repaint the sideskirts, maybee do some buffing or spot jobs here and there and some new seats and it'd be decent.

Well its for a cousin of mine. He has seen what can be the potential of these cars and he wouldnt mine getting one since he knows labor will be cheap...ie a six pack or two.... but he wants to strip the blower out and make some HP on the motor for a DD/Strip Car. But I dont think the car is exactly been Kept up with. The guy had good intentions but they fell by the wayside. The car needs alot of hours of work.

I think the guy said he paid 4000 for the car in that condition and he has alot of time and money in it.

But you know you never get out what you put in it.

man, that car is f'ed up. id pay about 2200 bc i dont know how much it is to tow it home. he put zero effort into getting that car going. he's either stretching the truth or just lying. id tell him to keep that blower, bc that thing is crap.

If you can get the car to run, and run decent I would pay $2900 for it. I paid $3000 for mine a few weeks ago. Could pull the blower and put it on ebay since he wants to sell it. Pair of seats, and carpet it would fix the interior unless I am not seeing something.

I dunno how the powerdynes are on the 94/95s. I'm sure they are crap if you guys say they are. But, my friend has a '93 with a 6lb. powerdyne upgraded to the 9lb. kit, he also recently put a different pulley on to get somewhere near 11lbs. I beleive. He has a stock motor to the intake and all the car has is gears, full exhaust, and fuel system and he gets into the 12s at the track and has had the blower on his car for over a few years now. Doesn't seem THAT bad, but I'm sure it is bottom of the line blower.

no he didnt. they produce a max of 9lbs. and for a supercharged fox to run 12s, well, id hope he could. but a procharger would put him in 11s.

I assure you he did, I even helped him put it on. As for them producing a max of 9lbs I didn't know that, and he probably didn't either. That might explain why the charger is making such a weird noise ever since he put the pulley on, lol. He bought the car with the charger on it and didn't know much about it. He hasn't driven it in a while though, he can't get it tagged. But all i'm saying is for a '93 GT with a stock engine and minimal mods and a $1200 blower, it's not such a bad thing to run 12s really. I'm sure he could be a hell of a lot faster but if I got a stang with a powerdyne on it, it wouldn't be that bad to where I would want to throw it out or anything. I'm just saying for free it's not that bad of a charger, lol.

$2500 - $3000 if I had to. The supercharger is a low-end charger, the car itself is in rough shape and you didn't mention how many miles are on it.

If I were you, I'd offer him $700 for the charger and keep searching for another mustang.
