I have a 02 mustang gt and would like to remove my rear wing was wondering how hard is it to do and what does it take to remove it and also how many holes will i have to fill in. I also wanna remove the ford emblem on the trunk but i dont know if its just held on with an adhesive or will it also leave holes that ill have to fill in. Any info will help thanks

Removal of the wing is easy. 4 nuts from the underside of the trunk lid. I think the nuts are 11mm.

The emblems, well ... some people have good luck and some seem to struggle. They come off pretty easy but leave a good bit of adhesive sometimes and it takes a while to get it off. Its easy though!

I know that the Ford emblem has two holes behind it (small ones, circle and an oval) and I assume the GT emblem is the same way. So you would have like 8 holes to fill but 4 of them are small (emblems).

I'm pretty sure the Ford emblem has no holes. I've heard that quite a few times, it's just adhesive. However the GT emblems do have holes.

Indeed!

As far as the trunklid GT badge is concerned, there was a discussion on here a while back where some people had holes and some didn't...my '02 does not.
