Hpipe and Catback. True duals. You could go the whole route and get LT headers as well?

Do a search under me for threads started and you will hear my new LT/Xpipe and Catback exhaust.

The only way to make it sound like a V8 is to buy a V8, or add 2 cylinders somehow.

All the exhaust combos in the world won't change the fact that motors make a certain range of sounds, and a V6 just doesn't make the same sound as a V8 does.. maybe an evil sounding V6 would be a better goal to set.

I know a kid with a V6 that sounds like a V8. At least if i dont run my car next to his it sounds like it could be a V8, or when he passes u, you think its a GT drivin by. Once i start my car up next to his though, u can tell its a modded 6

but he has a true duel exhaust, with flows and cams. Cams will help a lot with sound, especially to give it a low "v8 like" rumble.

The only yime a V6 will sound anything like a v8 will be in the lower rpm's once my old car hit 2800 it sounded like a 6 without a doubt. Ever hear a Grand National they sound mean at first then they get past 3000 and you know what they are. They do sound mean for a 3.8 though.
