Anyone know why that Stage 3 suspension is "novice" difficulty on the Roush site and the one I linked to earlier, the Stage 2, is "advanced" difficulty? From everything I've read they're the same kit except the Stage 3 is designed to be used with a supercharger?

I wanted the same thing, a slight lowering with no add-on issues. As they said above, sprping and shocks/struts work together and would not recomment springs without matching shocks. I went with the Stedda Ultralights and their non-adjustable shocks. I am quite happy with the combo. It alinged ok with out needing camber plates or an adjustable panhard bar. And I put them all on myself, along with the anit-sway bars over a weekend.

Warranty could be an issue. My dealer warned against it.

Are you saying that it didn't need an alignment after they "settled"? .. or after you installed the springs?

I was looking at getting this kit too. They say it was developed for the added weight of the Roushcharger and Roush wheels. While I don't see the Roushcharger in my future at this time, I do like the TrakPak wheel (Wheel + Tire +TMPS = $1K/corner!!).

I wonder how the car would behave if you don't have their wheels or blower...

Is the Stage 2 that much different from the Stage 3?

As far as I can tell the stage 2 is a different set of front springs. For cars without the Roushcharger. The site claims the same lateral Gs for both kits. As far as having their wheels, I'm sure the car would handle just fine with whatever you decided to run. It's an easy way for them to get people to spend some extra cash on Roush parts and not go elsewhere. Manufacturers like to make it look like their parts won't work with anyone elses.

I agree about the part of using any wheel being ok. But you could also say that when they "tuned" this setup, they used their wheels, so it would be more of a "match."

I like the fact that the Trak Pak wheel is forged. I hate big heavy wheels. What I don't like, is the price. I went to the Roush "Garage Sale" a few months ago and saw some incredible deals (got my mufflers there)...and I saw the Trak Pak wheels....but someone got there 2 min before me and scooped them all up.

I did see the 1g rating on both set-ups, but they go into more detail on the development of the Stage3, so I'm not sure if it's any "better." I'm sure that a Roushcharger isn't going to add 50lbs + to the front of the car...right? That would hardly affect daily driving performance.
