want to paint my trim pieces

Anyone have advise on painting the trim moldings on a 90 gt convertable. What is a good paint to use and any other ideas that may help in the process. I dont want to paint it and have it start to chip off. Any advise appriciated.

www.50resto.com along with Eastwoods sell the trim paint.

I have used the trim paint kit from Eastwoods, it has a self etch primer and the falt paint. Works great, just lightl scuff them, grease and wax remover them, prime and paint. I prefer to do it all off the car.
