My kid just moved out a while back and its finally time for another Ford build!!! I want to turbocharge my 01 GT. It is a very nice car to start with it just has an a--load of miles, 200,500 to be exact. I know a rebuild with some strong parts will be necessary as I want my motor to last a good while. Id like to make 425 HP initially with a little room to grow once I quit breaking parts with the torque a turbo creates. Ive built several Windsor Fords, a 289, 3 302s, and a 351 also. All were carbureted. With simple distributers and normally aspirated. I was hoping somebody here could point me in the right direction concerning compression ratios, cam profiles, turbo size, and boost amounts plus retain daily reliability. Any help?
