As it says, I need a tensioner for the accessory belt on the alternator side (smooth pulley, no ribs). Mine has a bad bearing. Surely one of you guys have one laying around.
threw mine out sorry. they sell them at autozone for like $20 new. hey i got a large vam off ebay for $15.50. sorry just thought that was a good price.
Isn't the A/C tensioner the same as the Alt/ps tensioner? They looked the same to me when I had them off If they are the same I think I have at least one AC tensioner in my basement somewhere.
Well, I suppose the tensioner itself is the same...the pulley is just different. I could probably make do with either side (though my pulley has some pretty bad wear).
does it have a groove worn in the pulley like the one I have sitting here. Or does it just sit all crooked and make the belt ride funny........like the one I have sitting here.
