Well it's a blank canvas and I'm no Picasso, well not exactly. I need some advice on some different aftermarket parts, you know some direction in what to buy, what brand, what I should plan to spend and what combo will get me the most power. Is the H pipe really better for the 5.0??, things like this Please help. What I want to do to my 95 GT is below. Also I am open to suggestions about other power adding ideas. Thanks in advance guys!

If you are looking for 'Best Bang For The Buck' do some gears. 373's will really wake up your car. Your MPG might be a little worse, but will be of minimal concern compared to how mush more fun the car will be to drive.

As far as other mods go...
Unless you plan on making alot of HP, either NA or Forced Induction, there is really no need to spend alot of money on the ignition system. Basic tune-up should be good enough.

For the exhaust, Long Tube headers will increase low end torque, which will be good on a daily driver/street car. Plus, they sound a little better. As far as the mid pipe, from what I have heard, the H will be better for torque and be more of a throaty 'V8' sound; wear as the X is more for upper RPM HP and sounds more raspy. There are a TON of vids. on YouTube with sound bites.

While my advice may be subjective, the best thing I can say is to develop a rock solid plan and go with it. There is nothing worse than buying parts twice, or having to take them off soon after install. For example, if you want to do heads then you should do a cam at the same time. There is no logic in taking off the heads, putting it all together, then take it apart again to do a cam.

Finally, get to know the search function. The guys/gals on here are VERY helpful, but some answers can be found by simply searching.

Good luck.
