If money is tight, take it to the dealer.. it is warped rotors... but if you've got $399 get the cobra or bullitt kit from www.mustangparts.com (they are identical other than color). They come with new calipers, brembo 13" rotors, stainless steel lines, and new pads. The stock brakes are small and aren't much good for performance driving of any sort. If you want to know more, let us know.

My car also does this, however its 4 years old now and believe it or not i have never even changed the brake pads, but lately i have noticed more effort required to stop it so as soon as i get the money im getting some. How long does a set usually last?

In your case if you don't want to spend for the 13" cobra kit, you can get new brembo replacement rotors and EBC greenstuff front pads from www.tirerack.com for pretty cheap shipped.
