In having warranty work performed, is it advisable to have the dealer you bought it from do it, or does it really make a difference? I don't know if only the host dealer gets reimbursed by Ford for such work or if any dealer will.

Since I have found the source of the water in my 2012 and have had 2 different dealers unable to do what I did, the question is to whom I will take it for the fix. One is really convenient while the one I purchased it from is further away.

Shouldn't make a difference, but I have found that if you stick with one dealer you generally can get better treatment.

Which ever dealer you feel better dealing with....then stick with them and keep a good attitude.

Warranty work is warranty work it doesn't matter which dealer does it they all well be reimbursed, just normally the one you purchased it from will go out on a limb to help you out since they already sold you a car, and if they treated you good during the purchase why else will they believe you would go else where if they leave a good taste in your mouth (not trying to sound too perverted) about how the exceeded your expectations and so on. The one you didn't purchase the car from won't feel that little extra need to help you out because you didn't purchase it from them, unless they have really good management and do what they are paid for. Myself, I would use the one convient to where I live unless I get a bad sign, then try the one you purchased it from. Key thing just be polite and respectful, some of these ppl can have some long days and just that little bit extra thing called being nice can go along ways.
