Washed car.. then wouldnt start until i...

Ok i washed my car today for the first time since i put the new motor in at the car wash... And went to start it and NOTHIN... I had power to my Cig lighter but when i turned the key...nothing... So i popped the hood, unhook the batt. And hook it back up and she was as good as new.... ????? .... Any ideas here>>?

Sounds like just a loose battery terminal. I've had it happen before. Get power until you turn the key. I replaced my cable ends.

check your ground connection. Did you reconnect the ground wire from the battery to the block? Is it tightened down? What about the ground strap that goes from the back of the engine to the firewall? If those are good, the next step would be to check the connections to the starter and make sure they are all tight.

Agreed with the above. Give all the connections a once over. I have done that myself (I set cables on but dont cinch them down and then later forget).
