Washer Fluid Motor... Just spins?

Hey guys i took my motor out of my washer fluid tank to clean it, now that i put it back in the motor just free wheels and does pump anything... Anyone have any idea how i can fix this? THanks

if pump is 19 years old replace it O'reillys auto parts sells them for $13.29.if you have a O'reillys in your area, if not call local auto parts store and compare prices alot of places price match.autozone has them for $17.00 and advance auto parts has them for $15.95.

It might just need to be primed.

before you buy another try to prime as JRPony stated and also remove rubber line from pump to sprayer and activate pump fluid should flow and check rubber line or jets may be stopped up. sitting here thinking and the problem may not be the pump may be rubber line or jets that spray fluid on windshield.
