Congrats Killer...I wanted to go to Maple Grove so bad, but it was still rainy down my way. There were some really nice cars up there from chris95svt' s pics. Thanx chris for posting those.

now see if i would have gotten there like a half hour earlier, i would have put mine in and gave you some competition. pisses me off that they wouldn't let me in. i might have been smelling pretty fierce considering that half-hour would have been shower and changing time but i woulda made it then.

anyway, like i told paul, you guys really have to see his car in person to appreciate it.

Thanks again guys for the kind words. Now for my longest post ever... (my wife thinks I'm weird that I reply to every person individually and rolls her eyes as soon as I start typing...)

Joe- we'll eventually meet up... maybe it will be via lining up against each other at Cecil!!! I don't know what other events I will definitely be at other than FFW at Norwalk and the SSOTN fall nats. Maybe I'll try to make it to Atco, and I hear there is some mustang showdown coming up at E-town so I may look into that. I had a hard time finding Ed myself, but I found him with his little Aruba hat on lounging in his truck. I must have talked to him for an hour or more. I only saw like 2 passes all day because of all the other stuff I was doing and due to people breaking.

Chris- like I told you, I had to stop reading your threads and going to tm.com because I was becoming obsessed with getting a turbo. Mark my words... I will have one someday, but not on my '95 as I want to keep that as-is and shoot for an 11 second NA run. I plan to turbo the '90GT I bought a few months ago, but it needs a LOT of work first. I probably could have bought a turbo setup this year if I had not bought my wheels... but from all the compliments I keep getting on them like yours makes me realize that it was the right decision!

Numbles- I'm glad I was still sporting the 4X4 look as you should have seen the mess we had to drive around in all weekend. I felt more like I was at a mud drag than a car show/race! Depending on the angle my car is at, sometimes its hard to tell its not lowered. I really don't want to lower it because its a PITA now to get a jack under it, and it will NOT make it into my garage if I lower it any bit. I took a LOT of pictures yesterday of the car and I have one from a side shot and the thing looks like its lowered. I'll put it up later as I have to shrink it.

RC- I've had my ground effects painted twice already. The people that painted them first didn't prep them right and the paint flaked off before they even made it onto the car. The paint isn't too bad now, but I have some spider webbing going on now in a few spots where I have bumped things. My car still has a cooling issue at highway speeds and I KNOW its due to the front fascia not letting enough air in as I had ZERO problems when I had the wings west front clip on. I just installed a pusher fan in front of the radiator but it doesn't seem like its helping all that much. Definitely attend a FFW or NMRA event if and when you can... it will make you feel like a kid in a candy store!!! If that doesn't renue your interest in stangs, nothing will!

Jesse- good talking to you too! Thanks for helping me out to slow down Charlie, I need all the help I can get once he puts that blower on.

Swing- are there any tracks or clubs in your area? That is a GREAT place to meet locals. Start doing some searches on the net as there are mustang clubs EVERYWHERE! I did a quick search for you and here's some I found:
http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Flats/1186/SAMC.htm
http://bradbarnett.net/mustangs/clubs/find/#Arkansas

Riff- I'm sure you and I will meet up somewhere. It will probably be the same day I meet Joe! Your car looks good BTW!

Prokiller- It was nice to meet you and your dad! I saw your car as we left and it looked real CLEAN which is a look I LOVE now. My car is actually a little too "overstated" for my liking now, but I have no plans to change it! Thanks again for the compliments! Has the head gasket given you any problems since you put it back together?

If I remember correctly, every year for the past 3 years, the NMRA Maplegrove race has either been a wash out or a delayed race.

Paul, the car looked absolutely stunning. The pictures you've posted make it look higher than it actually looks in real life. I don't even know what to say about it. Simply amazing.

E-Town still has the Mustang Showdowns. I went to the last one and Evan Smith and Yo Ken from MM&FF were there racing eachother in their Stock Eliminator cars. Pretty cool stuff...

Check out godragracing.com and go to their forums, they have an extensive list of things going on at Atco, E-Town and Cecil County.

I should be putting in a new flywheel this weekend along with ANOTHER throw out bearing. I'm going to have my Dad go over the trans one last time, and I should start ripping the car apart next week. I'm keeping my fingers crossed...

Wow, thanks Joe! I agree it often looks higher than it is. The back is fine, its just the front that could stand to be lowered a little. Here's a pic I took yesterday that I think shows more what its stance is really like...

Another shot of my car that I just love!

Maple Grove was rained out last year and that was the first time in its 19 year history that it was ever canceled. This year makes it two in a row. I will check out that link. I want to attend as many events as I can this year as my wife and I are thinking of starting a family here pretty soon.

Paul, I think that is true...If we keep the body kit, we'll probably have to get a cowl or hood like Oink's...I think with more circulation the cooling components will do their job. I run 180 everywhere all winter in 60-70* weather. So far it has cooked up to 195 ish, but has not quite hit 200 yet. When the car is running and I pop the hood, it cools off right away, prob from letting the hot air escape.

I have paint flaking all over the place...the body shop did a $hitty job on the kit prep. One bump, and it all flakes right off
